Match Recap
Tenerife looked set to collect a rare home win when Enric Gallego opened the scoring in the 25th minute, only to watch Cadiz snatch a point they had barely threatened to earn. Gallego's finish continued Tenerife's solid recent form, two wins in five and 11th in the Segunda División, and for nearly fifty minutes it held up as the difference. Then Vladyslav Kopotun struck in the 74th minute, dragging bottom-placed Cadiz level and denying Tenerife what would have been a big three points. Cadiz stay rooted to 20th with just three points from five games and no wins, but this draw will feel like a small rescue. Tenerife, meanwhile, will replay how a lead built by Gallego slipped away so late. The 1-1 finish leaves both sides with work to do, but Kopotun's leveler is the moment worth rewinding: watch how the away side punished a Tenerife defense that had done everything right until the 74th minute.
