Match Recap
Molde needed a second-half identity shift to get the job done in Oslo, and they delivered it in brutal fashion. Valerenga led 2-1 inside 21 minutes, with L. Haren and M. Grundetjern scoring in quick succession to flip E. Hestad's early opener, but Molde responded with three goals in fifteen first-half minutes. S. Granaas leveled on 30, J. Abdullai flipped it on 40, and C. Zady added a fourth right on the stroke of half-time to make it 4-2. C. Lange pulled one back in stoppage time, but it was too late for Valerenga, who have won just once in their last five Eliteserien games. Molde, sitting fourth on 30 points with three wins from their last five, stretched their advantage over a struggling side that has yet to beat them in recent meetings. Hestad, the league's fifth-top scorer with eight goals, started it all, and his opener is the moment the game turned on, even if Valerenga briefly forgot that.
