Match Recap
Erzurumspor FK edged Samsunspor 1-0 in Süper Lig, and it came down to one moment right on the stroke of half-time. M. Cardoso struck in the 45th minute, and that single goal was enough to hold up for the full ninety. Neither side arrives on the back of much momentum: Erzurumspor FK sit 16th on four points with a LWDLL run, Samsunspor just above them in 15th, also on four, having gone LLLWD into this one. For the hosts, this was a first win squeezed out of a stretch that badly needed one, snapping a run that had produced more losses than points. Samsunspor, who had at least found a win of their own last time out, will be frustrated to leave Erzurum empty-handed after creating enough to ask questions of the home defense without finding an answer. It was tight, tense, and settled by a single clinical finish just before the break. Watch Cardoso's 45th-minute winner and see exactly how Erzurumspor FK broke the deadlock.
