Match Recap
Bayern München made light work of SC Freiburg at the Europa-Park Stadion, turning a close scoreline into a comfortable 3-1 Bundesliga win thanks to goals spread across the whole match. Dayot Upamecano opened the scoring in the 16th minute, and Serge Gnabry doubled the lead just before half-time in the 42nd, leaving Freiburg chasing the game from the break onward. Tom Bischof's 82nd-minute strike gave the hosts a glimmer of hope, cutting the gap to one, but Michael Olise snuffed it out with a goal deep into stoppage time, in the 90+5th minute. The result stretches Freiburg's winless run against this opponent to two straight defeats in their last meetings, and with both sides heading into the match sitting just a point apart near the top of the table, Bayern's away form (one win, one draw, one win in their last three) proved just enough to edge it. Freiburg's Bischof gave the home crowd something to cheer, but it wasn't enough to dent Bayern's control. Watch how Olise's last-gasp finish sealed it in the 90th minute, right after Bischof had briefly made things interesting.
