Match Recap
Gustavo Marques broke Gremio hearts in the fifth minute of stoppage time, his goal giving RB Bragantino a 1-0 Serie A victory that felt like it would never come. For 94 minutes the teams were locked in a stalemate, and then Marques found a way through to send Nabi Abi Renan's side up to 35 points. The win extends Bragantino's unbeaten run against Gremio in their two most recent meetings, with the Massa Bruta side now claiming a win and a draw from that pair of fixtures. Gremio, sitting on 25 points and coming into this fixture off back-to-back defeats, could not find the response, leaving their form reading LLWDL across their last five Serie A outings. Bragantino's own recent run, WDLDD, showed they badly needed three points, and Marques, in the cruellest minute for Gremio, delivered them. Find out exactly how he did it when you hit play.
