Match Recap
Table-toppers Flamengo kept their grip on first place in the Brazilian Serie A with a controlled 1-0 road win over relegation-threatened Remo, a result that could hardly have been more predictable on paper yet still needed a moment of quality to settle it. Samuel Lino provided exactly that in the 65th minute, finishing past a Remo side that had not won any of their last five league games and sat rock-bottom on 23 points heading into the match. Flamengo, who came in with 54 points and four wins from five, spent most of the afternoon dictating terms against a home team with nothing to offer going forward, and Lino's finish was the one moment of real sharpness in a tightly guarded contest. The only previous meeting between these clubs also ended in a Flamengo victory, and this one followed the same script. Watch the clip to see exactly how Lino picked his spot and put the game to bed.
