Match Recap
Louis Kubler settled this Europa Conference League trip inside the first quarter-hour, poking home in the 14th minute to give SC Freiburg all three points at Trabzonspor. The scoreline stayed 0-1 from there, but the context makes it sting more for the hosts: Trabzonspor arrived on a perfect two-from-two start and still slipped to a home defeat, while Freiburg bounced back from a loss to pick up a much-needed win on the road. It's a result that flips the early table picture, with Freiburg climbing off the bottom rungs at Trabzonspor's expense despite the German side sitting well below them in the standings coming in. No flurry of goals, no late twist, just one clinical finish from Kubler that Trabzonspor never answered. Watch how the Freiburg defender turns provider, slipping in behind the Trabzonspor backline to open the scoring, in the full highlights below.
