Molde 1–2 Aalesund

Aalesund had no business leaving Molde with anything, let alone all three points, but Mathias Christensen made sure of it inside seven minutes and Isak Gabriel Skotheim doubled the lead right before the break. Molde came into this Eliteserien clash third in the table on 36 points with four wins in five, riding a run that made this the sort of home fixture they don't often lose. Aalesund, 15th and struggling with just one win in five, had drawn the only previous meeting between these two sides, so history offered no hint of what was coming. Kristian Lonebu pulled one back for Molde in the 82nd minute, too little and far too late to salvage anything from a game his side had let slip early. For a team fighting near the bottom, this 2-1 win over one of the league's form sides is the kind of result that changes a season. Watch how Christensen's early strike set the tone, and see Skotheim's second land right on the stroke of half-time to send Molde into the break already chasing the game.
