Match Recap
Banfield needed only six minutes to settle into this one, with Adrián Balboa poking home the opener before Tigre had even settled at home. Jerónimo Domina leveled things four minutes later, but the response didn't last: Tomas Adoryan restored Banfield's lead in the 36th minute and it held. Neither side arrived in form. Both Tigre and Banfield are without a win in their last five Liga Profesional Argentina games, with Tigre sliding to tenth on 20 points and Banfield two spots and two points further back in twelfth. For Tigre, the result stings doubly: they've now lost both of their last two meetings with Banfield at home, a head-to-head record that keeps tilting the wrong way. Neither club has a name anywhere near leading scorer C. Tarragona's 19 goals, but Adoryan's strike didn't need a famous name to decide it. Watch how Banfield turned a six-minute shock into a lasting winner.
