Match Recap
Galatasaray looked set for a routine win over Kasimpasa before Jaden Rak-Sakyi's 68th-minute strike turned it into a nervy finish, only for Barış Yılmaz and Mario Lemina to put it beyond doubt in stoppage time. Abdulkerim Bardakçı had opened the scoring right on the half-hour mark's edge at 45', and the late double burst, Yılmaz in the 90th and Lemina six minutes into added time, sealed a 3-1 Süper Lig win that extends Galatasaray's run to four victories in five and lifts them to second on 13 points. Kasimpasa, who sit eighth with 10 points despite a respectable DWDDW form, have now lost the head-to-head series against their hosts after splitting the two previous meetings. Neither side had a name among the league's top ten scorers on the night, with Eldor Shomurodov's 19 goals still untouched at the top of the charts, but Galatasaray didn't need a star name, just four different finishes from four different moments. Watch Rak-Sakyi's goal that briefly threatened an upset, then the two late strikes that slammed the door shut, in the highlights below.
