Match Recap
Djurgardens IF made light work of Gais at home, closing out a 2-0 win in Allsvenskan built on two well-taken goals. Kristian Stromland Lien opened the scoring in the 35th minute, and Bo Åsulv Hegland doubled the advantage just after the hour to seal it. The result keeps Djurgardens rolling, four wins in their last five league outings, and moves them to third in the table on 38 points, while Gais remain 10th on 27 after managing only two wins across their own last five games. It also extends a perfect head-to-head record for the hosts, who have now beaten Gais in their only previous meeting. Elsewhere in Allsvenskan, K. Lien tops the scoring charts with 15 goals, a tally this Djurgardens attack is chasing as a collective rather than through one man. Watch Lien's opener and Hegland's second-half strike, the two goals that settled this one, in the highlights below.
