Tractor Sazi 1–1 Esteghlal FC

Tractor Sazi and Esteghlal FC shared the points in a Persian Gulf Pro League draw that neither side could quite escape with all three. Saeid Saharkhizan, the league's third-highest scorer with six goals this season, put Esteghlal ahead in the 28th minute, and his strike looked set to settle it until Mehdi Hosseini leveled for Tractor in the 75th. That late equalizer matters: it keeps Tractor top with 16 points, one clear of Esteghlal in second on 15, and it preserved the draw that has now defined this fixture, with the two sides splitting their only previous meeting the same way. Both arrive in good form, Tractor unbeaten in four of their last five and Esteghlal winning three of their last four, which goes some way to explaining why neither could find a winner. For a result built on two sharp finishes, 47 minutes apart, from a league leader-chasing scorer and a home side refusing to fold, the only way to feel the full swing of this one is to watch how Hosseini's 75th-minute leveler actually went in.
