Al Musannah 4–1 Sohar

Al Musannah needed just six minutes to put this one to bed. M. Al Mishifari and M. Al Riyami struck inside the opening quarter-hour, and by the time Sohar's S. Al Muqbali pulled one back just before halftime, the damage was already done. Al Mishifari wasn't finished either, adding a second after the break either side of E. Andzono's strike to complete a 4-1 demolition in the Professional League. For Al Musannah, bottom of the table and winless through three games, it's a rare bright spot in an otherwise miserable start to the season. Sohar, who came in on the back of a draw-win-draw run and sit mid-table, will have expected far more resistance than they showed. Neither side's name features among the league's current scoring charts, topped by M. Diarra, but on this evidence Al Mishifari's brace deserves a mention of its own. Five goals, a ten-minute blitz to open the game, and a striker who simply wouldn't stop, watch how Al Musannah tore this one open before Sohar even had time to settle.
