Match Recap
Miguel Rubio and Álvaro Morata each scored twice, but it was Valladolid who came out on top in a seven-goal thriller against Leganes in Segunda División. Rubio struck twice inside the opening 24 minutes, and Adrian Arnu made it three before half-time, with Arnu's goal notable in its own right since he now sits among the division's top ten scorers behind league leader Enric's eight. Tay Abed extended the lead to 4-1 early in the second half before Morata, chasing a response, pulled two back for Leganes, the second arriving in the 91st minute to make it a nervy finish. It wasn't enough. Valladolid held on for a 4-3 win that avenges their only previous meeting, a loss, and lifts them above Leganes in the table despite both sides still searching for consistency after rocky starts to the campaign. Seven goals, four different matchwinners, and a stoppage-time scare, Rubio's quickfire double and Morata's late fightback both deserve to be seen. Watch every goal from this one unfold below.
