Match Recap
Gais and IFK Goteborg shared the points in a tight Allsvenskan draw after Nikola Vasic put the home side ahead in the 32nd minute, only for Sam Larsson to drag Goteborg level in the 72nd. The result does little to change Gais's lean patch, just one win in their last five and a mixed LLWLD run, while Goteborg's DWWWW form and 36 points, six clear of their hosts, suggest a point here is more a blip than a worry. The two sides had met just once before, also a draw, so the stalemate keeps that short rivalry level. Neither Vasic nor Larsson troubles league top scorer K. Lien's 16 goals this season, but both strikes carried real weight for their teams on the day. Vasic's finish gave Gais hope of a rare win; Larsson's answer, twenty minutes from time, snatched it back just as the home crowd started to believe. Watch how Larsson picks his moment in the 72nd minute to silence Gais, right after Vasic's opener looked set to hold.
