Redditch United 0–2 Berkhamsted

Berkhamsted pulled off a tidy FA Cup away win, breaking Redditch United's resistance early and then putting the result beyond doubt late on. R. Blake struck in the 12th minute to give Berkhamsted the lead they wouldn't relinquish, and Redditch spent the rest of the afternoon chasing the game without finding a way back. The hosts pushed for an equalizer but couldn't crack a Berkhamsted side content to sit on its advantage, and in the 80th minute L. Andrews made the game safe with a second goal that took the sting out of any late Redditch rally. It finished 0-2, a professional, controlled performance from Berkhamsted against a Redditch United team that never got going in front of their own fans. For a club like Redditch, FA Cup afternoons like this sting more than league defeats, while Berkhamsted will take real belief from closing out the tie so comfortably on the road.
