Auriense 0–3 Deportivo La Coruna

Deportivo La Coruna put this Copa del Rey tie to bed before most fans had settled in, and J. Asp made sure of it almost single-handedly. The forward broke the deadlock right on the stroke of half-time, then doubled his tally and his side's lead early in the second half, turning a cagey cup clash into a one-way procession. Auriense never found an answer, and Lusimi Cruz twisted the knife late on to complete a 3-0 rout that flattered the scoreline only in how late the third goal arrived. For a club chasing the form of league leader I. Villoslada, this was a statement away from home against lower-tier opposition who simply had no response. Deportivo La Coruna march on, Auriense's cup run ends in the most emphatic way possible. Rewind to the 45th minute and watch Asp open the scoring, then do it all over again twelve minutes into the second half, right here in the highlights.
