Match Recap
Vitinho gave Botafogo a lifeline they badly needed, pulling the hosts level in the 56th minute to salvage a 1-1 draw against RB Bragantino in Serie A. Lucas Monzon had put the visitors ahead on the half-hour mark, threatening to deepen Botafogo's misery: they had gone winless across their last five league games, collecting just two draws in that stretch while losing three. RB Bragantino arrived in barely better shape, managing one win from their previous five outings, and a share of the points left both sides grinding in place. What gave the result an extra edge is Botafogo's head-to-head record, having won each of their two most recent meetings with Bragantino without conceding a draw. The equalizer arrived at the right moment for the hosts, and Vitinho's finish just after the hour, the strike that stopped a winless run from turning into a defeat, is the moment you'll want to see.
