Match Recap
CF Montreal and DC United have now played twice without either side managing a victory, and Sunday's meeting at Stade Saputo did nothing to disturb that pattern. Prince Owusu, currently tenth among Major League Soccer's top scorers with 21 goals, gave the hosts the lead five minutes into the second half, offering Montreal a lifeline in a run that had produced no wins across their previous five league games. DC United answered through Tani Baribo at the 67th minute, though, turning a visiting deficit into a shared point and keeping their own recent form intact, which includes four draws from five outings. For Montreal, 17 points and still searching, the result lands as another draw in a stretch that has delivered more of the same. Baribo's equalizer arrives at the exact moment DC United needed it most, and it's the one that decides everything.
