Widzew II 1–2 Polonia Bytom

Polonia Bytom needed just 120 seconds to set the tone in this Cup clash, and they never really let go of the lead. B. Mioc's second-minute strike gave the visitors an early cushion, and Widzew II spent the rest of the night chasing the game. K. Orlik doubled Polonia Bytom's advantage in the 66th minute, pushing the away side two goals clear before S. Zieleniecki pulled one back for Widzew II four minutes later, making it 1-2. It wasn't enough to spark a full fightback, though, as Polonia Bytom held on to take the Cup tie on the road. Neither side has a player among the league's current top scorers, a list still topped by S. Pukala with three goals, but this result belongs entirely to Bytom's early aggression and late-game composure. Watch how Mioc's second-minute opener set the tone for the whole match, then see Zieleniecki's 70th-minute strike that nearly turned the tie on its head.
