Match Recap
FC Cincinnati looked set to bank three points in Major League Soccer until K. Kossa-Rienzi struck in the 83rd minute to hand the Seattle Sounders a share of the spoils. Evander had given the hosts the lead midway through the first half, converting in the 24th minute to extend his remarkable season, now sitting sixth in the MLS golden boot race with 25 goals. Cincinnati, sitting on 31 points and unbeaten in four of their last five, controlled long stretches of the match and had every reason to expect a home win. Instead, the Sounders, who had not won in their previous five outings, snatched an equalizer deep in the second half to ease some mounting pressure. It is the kind of point that stings more than a defeat for Cincinnati: they were minutes away from rewarding their own form. Evander's first-half strike and that gut-punch 83rd-minute finish from Kossa-Rienzi are the two moments worth watching again.
