Match Recap
Hibernian and Aberdeen shared the points in a Premiership derby that swung on a fast start and a second-half response. Kevin Nisbet put Aberdeen ahead inside the first quarter-hour, finishing on 17 minutes to silence the home crowd early. Hibernian needed until the hour mark to find an answer, and it was Martin Boyle who delivered it, levelling things up in the 62nd minute to send the game to a 1-1 finish. Neither side arrives in vintage form right now: Hibernian sit ninth after stringing together three defeats before two wins, while Aberdeen, one place above them in eighth, have won just once in their last five. A point apiece does little to change that picture, but it keeps both clubs within touching distance of each other in a congested mid-table. With C. Durán still out on his own at the top of the Premiership scoring charts, neither Nisbet nor Boyle threatened his tally, but each strike mattered plenty to their own side. Watch how Boyle's leveller unfolds in the 62nd minute, the goal that rescued a point for Hibernian against their derby rivals.
