Match Recap
Two strikers traded blows twice over, and Wingate & Finchley couldn't hold on. A. Chukwu put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute, but G. Moncur answered ten minutes later to level it before half-time, and the pattern repeated itself in the second half. Chukwu struck again just two minutes after the restart to restore Wingate & Finchley's lead, only for Moncur to complete his own brace in the 85th minute and snatch a share of the spoils for Bedford Town in this FA Cup tie. Both men now sit inside the league's top ten scorers, Chukwu at fourth and Moncur sixth with two goals apiece in this match alone, a tally that has them nipping at the heels of division leader M. Diarra. Four goals, two hat-tricks of drama minus the third strike, and a finish nobody saw coming until the clock read 85. Watch how Moncur beats the keeper in the dying minutes to rescue a point Bedford Town barely deserved an hour earlier.
