Aris Thessalonikis blitzed Volos NFC with three goals inside 43 minutes before having to survive a nervy finish in a five-goal thriller at home. Christian Kouamé opened the scoring in the 7th minute, Fabiano Leismann doubled the lead in the 23rd, and Tino Kadewere made it 3-0 right before the break. Volos clawed back through Derek Agyakwa in the 58th minute and Giannis Kargas in the 86th, but the comeback arrived too late to deny Aris a 3-2 win in the Super League 1. The result keeps Aris unbeaten in their last three meetings with Volos, a run that now reads two wins and a draw, and lifts them to fourth in the table with 10 points from five games after a mixed WDLLW stretch.
