Match Recap
Major League Soccer's top side couldn't find a way through, and neither could the team chasing it. Nashville SC, sitting first with 70 points off four wins and a draw in their last five, ran into a red-hot Philadelphia Union side that has won three of its last five, and ninety minutes later nothing had changed: a stalemate neither really wanted. The head-to-head leaned Nashville's way too, one win and a draw in their last two meetings with the Union. Points were shared instead. Nashville keeps its grip on top spot, Philadelphia stays sixth with 46, still needing more to close the gap. Lionel Messi remains the league's scoring leader with 56 goals, untouched by anyone on this pitch. No goals here, but two in-form sides refusing to blink for a full ninety minutes is its own kind of drama. Watch the highlights to see exactly how both defenses held the line.
