Match Recap
Kifisia had been stuck in a rut, winless in three before kickoff, but Jorge Pombo gave them the lift they needed, striking in the 20th minute to put the hosts ahead at home. That goal wasn't just any strike, either, Pombo sits third in the Super League 1 scoring charts, ten goals deep into a season where L. Jović still leads the way, and he showed exactly why he belongs in that company. Panetolikos, flying in on a three-game winning streak and sitting sixth in the table, pushed for the leveler but found no way through, and the game looked destined for a tense finish until Leroy Abanda Mfomo sealed it in the sixth minute of stoppage time. A 2-0 scoreline that snapped Kifisia's slide and handed Panetolikos their first defeat in weeks. The head-to-head series between these two sides is now tied up again after Kifisia's win. Watch how Pombo opened the scoring and how Abanda Mfomo's stoppage-time strike put this one to bed.
