Match Recap
T. Hedl answered every time KVC Westerlo tried to pull clear, scoring twice to earn Zulte Waregem a 2-2 draw in the Jupiler Pro League. S. Saito had the hosts ahead inside eight minutes, and N. Bassette restored their lead three minutes after the break once Hedl had levelled at 25. Each time Westerlo went in front, Hedl had a response, and his second, in the 63rd minute, settled the afternoon. The point is a first for a Westerlo side that came in without a win or a goal to their name across three games, sitting at the foot of the table, while Zulte Waregem, carrying seven points from three outings, keep their unbeaten start alive despite being pegged back from a losing position twice. History offered Westerlo encouragement, their only previous meeting with this opponent ending in a home win, but Hedl ensured that did not repeat itself. Watch his 63rd-minute equaliser and see how he refused to let Zulte Waregem go home empty-handed.
