Match Recap
Krasava Ypsonas simply couldn't solve Apollon Limassol's experience, and the gap showed from the first flashpoint. Gustavo Assunção put the visitors ahead in the 38th minute, and though Luiyi de Lucas hauled Krasava level four minutes later, Apollon never looked rattled. Bruno Gaspar restored the lead on 80 minutes, then Garry Rodrigues, one of the 1. Division's top ten scorers this season, settled it in stoppage time to make it 1-3. For Krasava, now rooted in 14th with zero wins in four games and a four-match losing run, it's the same old story: they've lost the only previous meeting between these two sides as well. Apollon, up to 5th with six points and a steady run of draws and a win, look like a side finding their footing. Rodrigues' finish, his tenth league goal of the campaign, is the one worth rewinding for, a cool, clinical strike that stamped out any hope of a Krasava comeback.
