Match Recap
Miguel Borja needed just three minutes to erase a two-goal hole. Club America trailed Guadalajara Chivas 2-0 at the break, but Borja struck in the 71st minute and again in the 74th to level it at 2-2. Bryan Gonzalez had opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, and Miguel Vazquez doubled the away side's lead deep in first-half stoppage time before Borja's response flipped the game on its head. The draw also broke a losing streak for America in this fixture, who had come up short in each of their last two meetings with Chivas. In the Liga MX standings the two clubs sit within a point of each other, Chivas second with 17, America third with 16, both riding strong recent form. Joao Pedro Galvao remains the league's leading scorer with 25 goals, a mark none of this match's scorers threatened, but Borja's burst was the story anyway. Watch both of his strikes, four minutes and two goals that rescued a point for America.
