Match Recap
Pohang Steelers had no business leading FC Seoul at halftime, and yet here we are. Kento Nishiya needed just three minutes to put the hosts ahead, and Hwang Seo-woong doubled it in the 39th, sending Pohang into the break in complete control against a side sitting top of K League 1 on 62 points. FC Seoul, unbeaten in five with a WLWWW run, hit back through Patryk Klimala in the 51st, but the league leaders never found the second goal that would have rescued a point. It's a rare stumble for Seoul, who beat these same opponents in their last meeting, while Pohang, mid-table on 37 points and starved for wins this season, finally have one that matters. Two goals in 39 minutes flipped the form book on its head. Watch how Nishiya's early strike set the tone, and how Pohang held on once Klimala made it a contest, in the full highlights below.
