Match Recap
Viking turned their home ground into a shooting gallery, dismantling Kristiansund BK 8-1 in Eliteserien to post one of the most one-sided results the division has seen this season. The rout was underway before most fans had settled in: Peter Christiansen opened in the fourth minute, Henrik Heggheim doubled it in the sixth, and Viking never let Kristiansund breathe after that. Kristoffer Haugen extended the lead in the 20th minute, then Erik Botheim took over, scoring in the 29th and adding a second in first-half stoppage time to make it five. Leander Alvheim pulled one back for the visitors at 45+4, but that was as close as it got. Henrik Bjørdal, Niklas Fuglestad, and a 90+1 finish from Simen Kvia Egeskog rounded out the carnage after the break. The win keeps second-placed Viking on 47 points in Eliteserien. Watch how fast Botheim's brace arrived, two goals inside 16 first-half minutes that made this a formality long before the hour.
