Chico 1–2 Alianza Petrolera

Alianza Petrolera looked in complete control inside half an hour on the road, with Edgar Pardo breaking through in the 10th minute and Deinner Quiñones doubling the lead by the 30th. Chico hit back through Jhonier Alomia six minutes later, but couldn't find the equalizer that would have flipped this Primera A meeting on its head, and the visitors held on for a 2-1 win. It's a small but meaningful swing in a congested lower table, where both sides sat level on 17 points before kickoff, and it also settles an early score in a series Chico haven't yet won against this opponent. Neither team arrived with much rhythm, Chico's WWDDL form still shaky, Alianza's WLLLD even shakier, which makes the way they seized the first half so decisive. Pardo's opener set the tone, Quiñones' strike turned it into a cushion, and Alomia's goal only mattered because of how early it came. Watch how Pardo springs the offside trap in the 10th minute to see exactly where this match was won.
