Match Recap
Neither side blinked. U.N.A.M. - Pumas and Club Queretaro fought out a goalless draw at home on Monday, a result that leaves both clubs locked in an almost eerie statistical mirror: seven points each, identical 2-2-0 records across four Liga MX games, and form strings that read DWWL for the pair of them. Pumas entered the match unbeaten in their last two meetings with Queretaro, winning one and drawing one, and they extended that run without conceding, though they could not find the breakthrough either. With the league's top scorer Joao Pedro Galvao sitting on 25 goals and nobody from either side troubling the top-ten list, it was the defenses, not the attackers, who owned the afternoon. The blank scoresheet will feel like a point dropped for the Pumas faithful, but the saves, the blocks, and the moments that nearly broke the deadlock are exactly what the highlights are there to show you.
