Match Recap
Ittihad Tanger tore Amal Tiznit apart after the break, turning a level scoreline into a rout inside ten second-half minutes. S. Khorsa opened the scoring inside nine minutes, but Amal Tiznit's S. El Azhari leveled it right at the stroke of halftime to send the Botola Pro sides in level at the break. Whatever was said in the away dressing room worked: A. Maali restored the lead just two minutes after the restart, and I. Dieng made it 3-1 by the 55th minute, killing off any hope of an Amal Tiznit response. The result lifts Ittihad Tanger off the bottom half of the table, while Amal Tiznit, still searching for their first points of the campaign, sit rooted at 15th. Neither S. Benjdida, the league's top scorer with 14 goals, nor anyone from the league's top ten got on the scoresheet here, this one belonged entirely to Tanger's front line. Watch how Dieng's 55th-minute strike sealed it, and see El Azhari's stoppage-time leveler that briefly had Tiznit believing, in the highlights below.
