AIK Stockholm 1–1 Mjallby AIF

AIK Stockholm and Mjallby AIF traded blows at home and could not be separated, sharing the points in a 1-1 draw in Allsvenskan. Jacob Bergstrom put Mjallby ahead in the 19th minute, but Axel Kouame leveled for AIK just before the break, in the 40th. The draw does little to change the shape of the table: AIK sit seventh with 32 points and arrive off a run of three wins in their last five, while Mjallby, twelfth on 21 points, have managed just one win in five and will take the point gladly given their form. History favored the hosts too, AIK having won their only previous meeting on record against Mjallby, though this time the visitors made sure that trend did not repeat itself so easily. Neither side found the second goal that would have settled it, and the game stayed level from Kouame's strike onward. Bergstrom's opener and Kouame's answer both carry weight given where these two clubs sit in the table, and both are waiting in the highlights below.
