Estoril 0–2 Rio Ave

Rio Ave made the trip to Estoril look straightforward, keeping a clean sheet and picking up three points with a controlled 2-0 win in the Primeira Liga. J. Blesa, currently eighth among the division's top scorers with eight goals, put the visitors in front as early as the 15th minute, giving Estoril's backline a long afternoon to endure. The hosts, who are still searching for their first win after three games with just a solitary point, could find no way back, and Tamble added a second in the 73rd to seal it. It is Rio Ave's first league victory of the season after back-to-back defeats, and it comes at the expense of a side they had split the spoils with evenly in their two most recent meetings. Estoril's fans will want to forget this one quickly; Rio Ave's will want to relive Blesa's opener, a goal from a man in fine form — hit play and see why.
