Match Recap
Levadiakos had won none of their first five Super League 1 games this season, so nobody saw this coming. Giorgos Nikas opened the floodgates after just 8 minutes, Marios Vichos doubled the lead before halftime, and Alexandru Grigoraş Pantea put the finishing touch in the 87th to complete a 3-0 demolition of Aris Thessalonikis. The damage looks even worse on paper for the visitors: Aris came in fourth, riding a three-game winning streak and sitting on 16 points, while Levadiakos were rooted in 12th with a single point from draws. Head-to-head history offered Aris little warning either, two draws and a win in their last three meetings gave no hint of a rout like this. With L. Jović still running away with the league's scoring charts elsewhere, this one belonged entirely to a Levadiakos side nobody expected to turn up. Three goals, three different stages of the game, one stunning final score. Watch how Nikas' early strike set the tone, and see Pantea seal it in the highlights below.
