Match Recap
Sporting Cristal needed just six minutes to settle into this Primera División trip, with Santiago González poking home the opener before the home crowd had found its seats. UCV Moquegua hit back through R. Chipao in the 21st to level things, but Miguel Araujo restored the visitors' lead by the 35th and Cristal never let go from there. The result tracks the form: Cristal arrived on three wins from their last five and rank tenth, while Moquegua sit sixteenth with only one win in the same stretch, and their head-to-head history offered no comfort either, this was the first meeting between the two and it went the away side's way. E. Castillo still leads the league's scoring charts untouched, but this night belonged to Araujo and González, whose two strikes either side of Chipao's reply did the damage. Two goals in six second-half minutes from the visitors, watch how Sporting Cristal turned an early scare into a routine away win.
