Comunicaciones 0–1 Municipal

Municipal took all three points from Comunicaciones' home ground in the Liga Nacional, a 1-0 road win that tips a closely contested rivalry in their favor. The two sides had split their previous two meetings squarely, one win each, and this result gives Municipal the edge. No scorer from either side broke into the Liga Nacional's top ten, with league leader N. Martinez still running clear at 21 goals, a reminder of how much ground remains for both clubs in the attacking department. Comunicaciones, held scoreless in front of their own fans, will want answers. Municipal, though, return with a clean sheet and maximum points, the kind of result that holds up at any stage of a season. One away goal settled it.
