Match Recap
Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez each scored twice as Inter Miami tore DC United apart 4-0, a response nobody saw coming after five games without a win. Suárez got the rout started in the third minute and doubled it just before the break, then Messi took over after halftime, striking in the 47th and 60th to put the game beyond doubt. It extended Inter Miami's command of this fixture, unbeaten in three meetings with DC United and winners of two of them. Messi, already Major League Soccer's leading scorer with 54 goals this season, piled on two more to remind everyone why defenses still can't handle him. DC United, well below them in the standings, never found an answer. Four goals, two superstars, one statement result: watch how Suárez cracked the game open early before Messi finished the job.
