Match Recap
Nacho Ferri needed just 13 minutes to put Feyenoord ahead at home, and Javi Lopez doubled the lead early in the second half to seal a statement win over AZ Alkmaar. Feyenoord sit top of the Eredivisie table with 20 points from five games, riding four wins in their last five, while AZ, two points back in third, had arrived in good form too. The last time these two sides met, they could only manage a draw, so this result settles an old score and then some. Ferri's finish set the tone early, catching AZ cold, and Lopez's strike killed off any hope of a comeback before the hour mark. Two clinical goals, zero reply, and a gap at the top that just got a little more real. Watch Ferri's opener land in under a quarter of an hour, then Lopez put the game to bed for good.
