Match Recap
Kolos Kovalivka did the job early and never let go. Anton Salabay broke the deadlock in the 14th minute away at Veres Rivne, and Luka Stankovski doubled it eight minutes into the second half to seal a 2-0 win in the Premier League. It's a result that fits the recent head-to-head trend too: this was the sides' first meeting, and Veres came out on the losing end of it, same as last time these two squared off. The win also nudges Kolos above their hosts in the table, climbing to 8 points and ninth place off a form run of LWWLD, while Veres sit one spot and one point worse off at ninth with 9 points but just a single win in their last five. Neither Salabay nor Stankovski are troubling M. Ponomarenko's 18-goal lead at the top of the scoring charts, but their timing did all the damage Veres needed to avoid. Watch how Stankovski's second-half strike put the result beyond doubt in the highlights below.
