Match Recap
Yuta Goke turned this J1 League contest into his personal showcase - scratch that, into his personal statement, netting twice to put Vissel Kobe firmly in control of a 3-1 win over V-varen Nagasaki at home. Katsuya Nagato had already set the tone inside two minutes, and Goke's first, on 34, made it 2-0 before the break. He added the second early in the second half, giving Kobe the cushion they needed. Tenmu Matsumoto's stoppage-time strike for Nagasaki - 90+3 on the clock - was little more than a consolation for a side sitting bottom of the table on four points from five games. Kobe, meanwhile, move to 10 points and three wins from five, extending an unbeaten head-to-head record against this opponent across their last two meetings. Go find the replay of Goke's 52nd-minute finish - it's exactly the kind of goal that makes a double feel inevitable in hindsight.
