Match Recap
Alexandru Cicâldău needed just six minutes of the second half to settle this Liga I contest, converting on 51 minutes to hand Universitatea Craiova a hard-earned 0-1 win at Corvinul Hunedoara. It was a result that moved Craiova to 14 points and fourth place in the table, with a form run of three wins from their last five games keeping them firmly in the top-four conversation. Corvinul, sitting 10th on 10 points and without a win in four, found no way back after the breakthrough. The hosts had managed just one victory in their opening five Liga I fixtures, and this was not the night that run would end. Whether Cicâldău picked his spot, or Craiova worked their way through on a set piece, that 51st-minute moment is the story of this match — go find out exactly how it was scored.
