Match Recap
Den Bosch led twice and made it stand up, edging Helmond Sport 2-1 in an Eerste Divisie tie that swung inside the first half-hour. Silvan Bröker had Den Bosch ahead inside four minutes, only for Jeffry Fortes to level it for Helmond just after the twenty-minute mark. The reply took three minutes: Brian Koglin restored the lead in the 23rd and Den Bosch never let it go. It's a rare bright spot in a rough run for the hosts, who sit 17th with just one win from five games, while Helmond arrived in better form at 12th. There was also a score to settle — Den Bosch had lost the pair's only previous meeting, and this result flips that head-to-head record in their favor. Neither side's scorers rank among the league's top ten, where D. Zandbergen leads the way on 15, but on this evening Bröker and Koglin were the names that mattered. Watch how Den Bosch snatched the lead back inside three minutes of conceding — that's the sequence worth replaying.
