Match Recap
AEK Larnaca snapped a losing run with a hard-fought win at Omonia 29is Maiou, riding Nathan Andereggen's 23rd-minute opener before Fraser Tierney leveled for the hosts just before the break. Rade Bajic settled it with six minutes left, capping a comeback in form for AEK, who came into this Division 1 clash off a loss but have now strung together back-to-back victories to climb to second in the table. Omonia, sitting fourth after an unbeaten but win-light start, had chances to hold on after Tierney's equalizer but couldn't find the late goal that would have kept them level. Neither side features the league's current top scorer, Mmaee, who leads the way with 21 goals, but this result shows AEK don't need him to find the net when it matters. Three goals, two second-half twists, and a late strike that decided a table-shifting Cypriot derby. Bajic's 84th-minute winner is the moment worth watching first.
