Match Recap
Ilia Shkurin broke the deadlock early for GKS Katowice, finishing in the 15th minute to settle the home side's nerves. Wieczysta Kraków hit back through Duje Dujmovic on 62 minutes, dragging the Ekstraklasa clash level and giving the away side a real sniff of a result. GKS Katowice had the answer, though: Bartosz Nowak restored the lead just twelve minutes later to make it 2-1 and send Katowice up to seventh with 15 points from five games, extending a run that now reads three wins in five. Wieczysta Kraków, by contrast, stay down in 15th with just eight points and a single win all season, and this defeat will sting after a season already short on answers. With K. Czubak sitting top of the Ekstraklasa scoring charts on 25 goals, neither Shkurin, Dujmovic nor Nowak threatens that mark yet, but all three delivered when it mattered most. Katowice's response to Dujmovic's leveler is the story here: watch how quickly Nowak snatched the lead back before Wieczysta could settle into the game.
