Match Recap
Barracas Central needed a second-half turnaround to beat Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto 2-1, and they got it in style. Ibrahim Hesar had the visitors ahead at the break, scoring in the 44th minute to put Barracas on the back foot heading into the locker room. But Enzo Taborda leveled things in the 66th minute, and Rafael Barrios finished the comeback just eight minutes later to seal it for the home side. It's exactly the kind of response Barracas Central needed given where both clubs sit in the Liga Profesional Argentina table: ninth for the hosts against 15th for Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto, whose form reads WLLLL compared to Barracas' DWWLD. The head-to-head tells the same story, with Barracas unbeaten in their only previous meeting on record. Falling behind at home against a struggling opponent could have unraveled things fast, but instead it set up the exact kind of fightback that makes a Tuesday fixture worth watching. Catch how Taborda and Barrios turned a 44th-minute deficit into a 2-1 win in the highlights below.
