Match Recap
Nothing separated two of Colombian football's steadiest sides on the night, but Atletico Nacional will be happier with the stalemate. The league leaders, unbeaten in three of their last five with a WDLWW run and 40 points at the top of Primera A, couldn't find a way past a Deportes Tolima side that arrived desperate for anything to break a rut of four straight winless matches. Tolima, sitting sixth on 31 points with zero wins in their last five, held firm and leave with a point that feels more like a reprieve than a missed opportunity. History favored the hosts coming in, Nacional having won two of the last three meetings between these two, but neither attack could turn chances into goals this time, and league top scorer H. Rodallega watched from elsewhere as both sides cancelled each other out. A goalless draw rarely tells the full story of how hard it was fought, and the highlights below capture exactly how close both Nacional and Tolima came to breaking the deadlock.
