Match Recap
J. Ellis had USA moving after just four minutes, and when G. Lapadula pulled Peru level in the 15th, this Friendlies fixture looked like a real contest. It wasn't for long. USA seized total control after the break, turning a tight opener into a one-sided demolition with three unanswered goals inside the final half hour: M. Tillman restored the lead in the 66th, J. Hall doubled the damage in the 72nd, and S. Berhalter capped the rout in the 90th. Five goals in all, a genuine goal fest, and not one of the scorers currently ranks among the league's top ten, a chart still led by M. Osmajić's five. That's what makes this one worth watching: no single star carried USA, just a team that clicked all at once against Peru while Lapadula's early leveler quietly became a footnote. Catch the highlights to see how quickly a 1-1 friendly turned into a 4-1 statement.
